R162 Traffic Calming - Kilberry Village
The completed scheme involved the provision of traffic calming measures along the R162 at Kilberry, Co. Meath, approximately 8km north of Navan. Kilberry village is located at the intersection of the R162 and R163. Over the years, speeding through the village had become an issue. The scheme involved full road construction including traffic calming measures. The mean risk which needed to be mitigated through the scheme was traffic management.
The works for the scheme included the following:
